The Permanent Community Impact Fund Board (CIB) is known for its tremendous positive impact on rural communities throughout Utah. In 2013, the CIB established the Rural Planning Group as an additional resource for rural Utah. The State of Utah's Rural Planning Group supports communities by facilitating coordination between stakeholders, delivering training and tools, and providing technical assistance.
